I got a new bike! I believe it is the first brand-new transportation equipment I have ever owned. It is a road bike and it is so light and svelte and sexy and I love it and I don't really want to run anymore because why would you run when you can slice through the miles like a silent winged assassin? And now I can ride faster and even less safe than ever before! :D :D :D
My knee is not pleased today about what I made it do yesterday. Now hypothesizing that a certain pair of shoes is to blame.
But here is my current conundrum. One of the following things will happen:
Go to TT ---> Do well ---> Go to WOC ---> Possibly not enough vacation to stay for Boston Sprint Camp immediately after TT.
Go to TT ---> Do poorly ---> Don't go to WOC ---> Plenty of vacation to stay for Boston Sprint Camp immediately after TT...but won't want to think about/participate in orienteering immediately after TT.
What to do what to do? Grab a one-way ticket to Team Trials then figure out the way home later?

Le parc de discovery. Some trails, stairs, beaches, roads, logs, dogs, and rocks. I always feel slow in Discovery Park because the trails are often windy and undulating. And also because I'm running slow.
