Last night I had a dream that somehow my car got mixed up and I ended up with a gray car instead of black. I have also had a dream where my car got stolen, so apparently I have some sort of weird neurosis here.

Some Squak Mountain, courtesy of Peteris. Missed 7 badly; was wary of dropping too low so naturally came way too high. Pretty solid otherwise. Nice woods.

Yesterday I ran over one of those thick iron construction plates they put on the road sometimes to cover temporary holes or whatnot. It was a significant impact; the leading edge of the plate wasn't flush against the road but separated some 1-2 inches, so I immediately feared structural damage. However, rims, spokes, tires etc. all seemed apparently fine. Today I avoided the offending plate, like a hero.

Some more pin flag training at Summit Trails, probably the last one for a while if not for the duration. This was better than the first two in that I only got a little bit lost instead of a lot bit lost, and was able to find everything without resorting to aimless angst-ridden Kerouac-esque wandering. Or to feeling like if I put my head through a rotted stump maybe the flag will be inside.

Strength 31:00 [3]

I have been unable to train this week due to my own crippling ennui and lethargy.
