Long rolling hills long 3:34:11 [4] 13.76 mi (15:34 / mi)

Ran on trail and footing was crazy bad...every step was a struggle....This was maybe the hardest run at this distance I have ever done....I was planning on doing the full 16 miles but I ran out of time since I was going so slow with the conditions....
left knee was a little sore after the run

Hill Tempo run 1:22:10 [4] 6.51 mi (12:37 / mi)
ahr:148 max:166 slept:7.0 weight:240lbs shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Ran after work on the trails at Hyland Park Reserve...the trail conditions with the snow were not that great and I had a difficult time getting the intensity I should have had for this run....I felt fine I did fall on a ice patch about 3 miles into the run and landed on my right knee and wrist. It was nice to be on the trails in nature and I found that most of the trails were groomed for cross country skiing so I was lucky not to see any skiers come up on me since they tend to get upset on people running on the groomed trails.

easy run 1:13:22 [2] 6.0 mi (12:14 / mi)
ahr:141 max:158 slept:7.0 weight:240lbs shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Nice very easy run on a paved trail with no real elevation...I kept it very easy and worked on breathing through my nose and just staying calm. It was a fairly warm temp no real wind to deal with and most of the ice was off the trails. I ran in my Brooks Cascadas and my right achiles was a bit tight but not painful at all
