How hot? Testing my calf around Heslington. Felt like I had never run before, although seemed to be running fast enough. Calf still tight and decided to cut short usual 10km, but couldn't bring myself to lower my pace. See how my calf reacts tomorrow morning.

Short but lumpy ride after stodgy lunch at the Lion Inn. Descended into Castleton then along Esk Valley to Egton Bridge, Rosedale and rendezvous with Clare and the kids at Nunnington Hall.
