A really fun run on a new map at Lake Perry. Lots of trails. I did well, except for control 4, which I did horribly. My track was all over the place. I had almost decided to skip, when I had an ah-ha moment and figured out where it was. But it took over 49 minutes. It also wore me down enough that I had to stop a few times climbing a really steep hill later. Mostly, I been doing ok on them. I'm still a bit congested, but feel really well. And my shoulder is good. Yesterday's massage was a wonderful fix. Good weather, good course, good health. It was all there. Thanks, Eric.

Note
(rest day)

Just a wonderful rest day. I'm feeling some better, but my back was still hurting, and my nose runs a lot more than my legs can. I met Mary Ann this morning, and we both had 90-minute massages. Wonderful! Andrea really worked on my ouchie area, and suggested rubbing it around on a tennis ball. Now I can feel where the pain was, but it doesn't hurt. After massages, we had lunch and shopping and ended up at Trader Joe's. A very fun day.

The back pain in my scalpula that I had before all this sickness is back, but I don't know why. After lazing around today, I took Elray over to Mack Porter. The weather was good and we had a nice walk.

Workout 1:00:00 [2]
shoes: INOV-8 Trail Talon 225

I did well on the agility and balance moves, and I didn't get light-headed or out of breath. I think my shoulders will be sore tomorrow--very intense workout.

We used the battle ropes today, which is always a fun change-up. Ever since I was sick, my heart rate seems to go up a lot more, and I sometimes get a bit light headed. I had to stop once today and just do a wall sit.
