After recycling, I had to go to Excelsior to the bank, so we stopped at Watkins Mill on the way home. My fenix screwed up--the time function was working, but not the distance. So, I fooled around with it, and couldn't get it back on track. I finally turned it off and reset. Then it worked. So I set it to start at my turn-around, and doubled time and distance.

I really hope this doesn't happen during a race.

Started a bit later than usual,. because Bob wanted to go out for breakfast. So we did. Tough workout (but not as tough as Monday). I am a little sore from yesterday's workout with Jared.

Weekly workout with my trainer. We did a lot of weights and bands tonight that incorporated balance. I finished up alternating three sets of the heavy battle ropes with the farmer's carry all the way across the gym, while carrying 50 lb. Whew!

Just a normal tough sweat session today. I think I am pushing myself more, and trying to do more dynamic moves, in the hope that it sparks my few fast-twitch muscles.

Mack Porter Park. We parked in the usual place, but went the opposite direction and walked around the ball fields.

Not a misprint. The spike came with doing Ali shuffles, but I hit the red on a couple of other rounds. This was really hard. I'd been planning on doing HIIT again, to try to burn off some internal fat, but this should have done it for today. The first round was using the battle ropes for three minutes, and it stayed hard all the way to the end, with Russian twists and crunchy frogs. The CHOW was almost the easy part--10 double uppercuts and a squat jump. I did 27.

A short walk at Mack Porter on the woods loop, plus a little extra. After the effort at 9Round, yesterday's walk with intervals, and looking forward to lots of gardening today, we cut it short. But a beautiful day.

Elray and I went to Watkins Mill, and did an out and back starting counter-clockwise. I did quite a few running intervals. Going out, Elray towed me, and coming back, I mostly towed her. We both needed to get out and run. My allergies have been bothering me, so the deep breathing was really helpful.
