My chest band didn't seem to be working properly, so I turned my fenix5 on. Sure enough, the heart rate from the fenix 5 is above, but the chest band registered an average of 98 and a max of 113. I knew I was working harder than that.

Lots and lots of balance stuff. I managed to do a lot of balance work with my left leg, and did quite well. Also, lots of short, fast foot work. All in all, a very successful workout. My knee had no issues.

Today's CHOW wa two scissor kicks followed by jumping over the cone. This didn't seem like a good idea, so I passed on it, but had a good workout nonetheless.

Stretch & Strengthen again. Some of the same, and some different stretches, but different strengthening. Tough today. And I'm really stretched, too.

Today's CHOW was 10 alternating hooks and a squat jump. I did 44. Not as tough as yesterday.

Did Fruitdale and finished 35 seconds ahead of the pacer. No pain, but really out of breath.

We will have a CHOW every day this week. Today's was alternating round kicks on the bag. I kicked the bag with my right leg, but did air kicks with the left, and got 104. It seemed hard today. Then I had a massage.

Stretch & Strengthen. First time back in almost a month. I used a folded blanket under my knee when I needed to put weight on it. Mostly I managed to do everything. We started a new protocol with the strength part--twenty second on and ten second rest intervals, repeated four times. Since we did four different strengthening moves, that was about a quarter of class, and it was the sweaty part, too.

First time back at 9Round in almost a month. I did no jumping or running moves, and modified several things, such as jumping jacks. This week's CHOW was manmakers, and I managed 15, which I felt pretty good about. My knee is just a bit tired, but otherwise ok.

Still have two more pounds to lose from going Miss Piggy during vacation. Too many yummy breakfasts at the Robin's Nest, and quite a bit of red wine.

I did the Coastal Run, and geared up, except for a long hill. Today I managed to finish ahead of the pacer. The way to go, but I'm really beat. I also did my pt before I got on the bicycle, although that is pretty easy. Still sore, but only a bit of discomfort. Got to get it together for next weekend.
