The Javelina Hustle. A goat style with a mass Starr. I actuallywent9.22 km and had 324m of climb. A really long leg from 5 to 6 was extremely long for me. It took an hour. Otherwise, not too bad and I was mostly reading the map well. A couple of twists--controls 3-5 could be taken in any order. With the group of 10-12 you could omit one of your choosing, and the last four controls were not on the map--it was line-o. Fun day, perfect weather. Tonight we are meeting one of Bob's sisters and husband for dinner.

The CHOW was double hits on the speed bag. I only managed 88, but I'm not sure why that is. Good sparring with Bailey.

OK meet at Woodridge. I did the intermediate, and messed up on controls 3 & 5. I went from 2 to 4 which lost me 8:14 on 3. After I found it, I realized that I had been within 20 meters of the control earlier, and hadn't seen it. Then I lost 5:31 on 5. No problem with relocating, it was just a bit confusing out there. I was pretty slow today, and the trails were mostly rocky or muddy or both. Did not want to have any injuries before my trip south.
