Friday Feb 5 #

I have had a terrible sinus headache for almost two weeks, so yesterday I tried using a hot pack across my sinuses four or five times, and we used a humidifier all night in the bedroom. Today, no headache, yay. But it was a mostly doctor day, so looking forward to no headache (I hope) tomorrow. This up and down cold weather is bothering me a lot more than it used to.

A really nice day. Too many errands to run, but Elray and I got to go out this afternoon to Mack Porter. Did a few detours around, and kept up a fair pace.

Map checking at Hodge Park. I stayed on trails, and found a new trail the mountain bike people have scoped out. Mostly ok, but a few places missing. I tracked the flags. Very slippery and I fell once while crossing a creek with steep ups and downs. Great to get out in the woods. Nancy, Dick, and Paul helped me out by doing the trails on the north end.

9Round sent a Big Game Workout for the superbowl. Very cool. Bob will be watching, so I will do this, e.g. 10 pushups for a touchdown, 20 bicycle crunches for a sack. This will make me pay attention to the game, and make it a lot more interesting. I have my printout.

I used dumbbells for Round 2. The core workout at the last round was tough for me today--butterfly situps and low plank saws. I'm sure it would have been easier last year.
