Last minute desicion to go and try the tri swimming session. Such a good session (2.7k?), I really died in the last half as I haven't done anything that intense for a while and probs hadn't eaten enough. However I kept tumbling and pushing off with both feet- so I won't be going back... Will have to try and motivate swims on my own so I can chill a bit more at the wall and just use my good foot. I tried:(
Saw the consultant today... Stupidly bigged up this meeting in my head thinking I'd come out with all the answers but didn't. He basically said I will be out of running for another 4 months at least and it will heal with time, and that I can do any cross-training that doesn't cause impact to the foot- another apt in 6 weeks to see if it has healed any. I tried to ask as many questions as I could but he obviously didn't know much about sport and training and how much it means to me.. I think I will try and see maybe a sports doctor or something somehow to give me a bit more peace of mind and help me do everything I can to make this heal in the best way- anyone have any suggestions for anyone in Edi?
