Up to the lower ridge on the Ring of Steall route with Jacob, Fraser and Greg. Literally dieingggg, walked a good 50% of it, but glad I got to a good view point. Legs not used to actual mileage, felt very inadequate compared to those who can manage that distance!! One day...

Decent warmup of around 2.5km and then down the mountain after, practically a crawl was sooo steep. Also knocked my knee on a rock after I fell over but iced straight away and no issues now :)

FUCK. Was a bit worried about hip and having not run really for a few weeks, and legs felt very heavy the whole way. Just tried to run as much as possible, but 3-4.5km was absolutely hands on knees powerwalking lol. Shoes completely worn down too so lots of slipping in the bogs. Really enjoyed it however, and the views from the top were incredible!!!
Had absolutely no idea how I'd done till I got back down, and still in absolute shock at the result (4s off Laura Orgue and 16s before Emilie Forsberg). 100000% buzzing, and think I will be for a while.... :DDDDD

Note

Learnt nothing new from physio. L back/glutes tight so hip being overworked. Core has really helped with positioning so just need to continue with that but with more resistance band stuff, followed by more explosive plyos when I feel able to introduce. For now, just need to keep rolling glute and icing hip, and tape it if I need some support.
