Note

Came back from my run to a very exciting delivery of 40 items and 9 pairs of running shoes. I am now a SCOTT sponsored athlete (they were impressed with my results last year..). :O.
Plan for the next few months: finish uni on 8th May, then I'm in Edi working until graduation (6th July). Hopefully in that time I can get out away in my van, increase running successfully and get fit/lose some of the weight I've gained. My first race I hope to run is one of the British counters- Tal Y Mignedd on the 9th June (less than 7km I think)- may not be race ready by then but hope to run it. I hope to get to the ISF World Junior SkyRunning Champs in August (for the VK mostly), and some of the other races I have entered include the Snowdon race and Ben Nevis in Sept. Also obviously the Mamores VK. !!. I am moving to Ambleside area at some point (Aug/Sept) and getting any job I can find- have become a member of Ambleside A.C- buzzing to have the fells close and hopefully I can spend time running up them than in a pool/gym!!
Exciting times. Hope the foot and body plays ball and I can achieve the form I was on 7 months ago..

New session for “comp season”- reduced reps, heavier weight and ploy work. Not sure it’s where I’m at atm (aiming to be fit July- October) but I guess it won’t hurt.
Back reps 3 sets at 52,5, 52.5 and 55 (last one of this was hard).
Deadlift 3 x3 50kg (combining two sessions into one).
3x3 push up claps and MB slams

101km, 1078m Peebles via Romano Bridge, Innerleithan, Pass, and back through Bonnyrigg.
"Today I start studying" started well till I woke up and saw the sun. Just had to get out. Was super fun, felt so so strong up the pass- worked pretty hard trying to catch some club cyclists ahead (closeeeee!!), and strong throughout until that stupid incline from Lasswade to the bypass.
Something deffo wrong with my bike- very noisy (listen to the IG story!!) and feels like I am cycling on a flat tyre even though its not. Will put it into the shop tomoz.
Wont be doing a long cycle like this until I finish (3 weeks and 2 days, need to get studying...) but after that I'll have plenty of time!!

Same as last week but the weather was BEAUT- started off in 4 layers and came back in one! <3. Felt better at the end than what I did at the start, so fun I love cycling !!
