Downs looping pre brekkie. That felt hard, legs not loving the flat lands at all. Wanted a bit longer but felt a bit niggly near the end. One week of low level training before I can get to some big mountains in Austria!

So so hard. Now I'm a bit of a slug at the moment but that was slower than expected. A very undulating course (and appaz about a min slower than flat ones), but boyyyyyyy work to be done..!

Not enough up as I was a little later than expected, and then a very slow attempt at a cool down...

Wasn’t meant to be a rest day but van had a problem so didn’t sleep due to trying to get it fixed/the stress of it all. Very very tired today.
Legs feel fine though :)

Very very happy with the ascent. First Lady by a bit to the top in about 30mins (ahead of Eve who just came 6th as a junior in Euros, so fairly happy with that!), but literally had no guts at all down on the wet slippy rock, so basically just walked down!!! Horrible seeing everyone able to fly past me but meh, never going to be good downhill I don’t think!!

Walked up Loughrigg with a 91 year old........ amazing (bar one fall and a lost dog for an hour (involving lots of running around!))
