Little plod up Stock Ghyll Lane and Back over Wansfell. Never been into Jenkins Crag and it’s very nice- need to explore more.

running 51:55 [4] 9.1 km (5:42 / km) +325m 4:50 / km

Kong Race 1- Two Riggs, 4th female
Was okay... didnt have enough speed at the start to then be held up a little on the trod below the fell. Had to walk up the hill but feeling okay. Hated the downs, losing lots of places to just make it back up again on the up. Weirdly enjoyed the last bit along the muddy fields to the finish, probs cos I wasnt having to try and descend any more!!
A good 6 mins behind Nicola, and 3 behind Sharon in I always say, I have no idea how I'll be getting that fast again, guess Ive got to keep my fingers crossed for a good winter and be patient!
On the plus, no aches or pains :)

6 reps up Nook Lane (700m, 45m climb, 3.45 ish) and just a gentle jog back down... horrid.
Foot is okay, still not 100% but will keep working on it. Wore the Hokas as think a good support would do me good.

GCN on the turbo. Felt so close to vomming lol ouch...

Foot a lot better today but still a little bit tight on the arch so being the overthinker and sensible, I thought pounding tarmac wouldnt be the best.

Saw Hazel for a unplanned appt this morning. During last week, and particularly orienteering, my left foot wouldnt move or adapt to terrain and a very tight calf. Woke up this morning with a very tight arch, and a bit sore to put weight through it.
Tight post tib and plantar fasc but nothing to worry about if I rehab it, she loosened and strapped it and said I could do the sesh tomorrow evening- will see how it feels tomorrow but may just sit on the turbo to be safe this week.
