Fell race race (Langdale Horseshoe) 2:37:00 [4] 12.1 mi (12:59 / mi) +1450m 9:27 / mi
shoes: Xtalon200

Climbing well for the start but got trapped in at the start. Stuck in behind Mike Robinson from Stickle Tarn to Angle Tarn then left him on the Traverse and started to over take people. took a pretty duff line off Crinkle crags to avoid the bad step following people not sure if it was quicker or not...
Started feeling mega rough descending to the bottom of Blisco took a drink en route but started to feel cramp in my hammys climbing blisco and slowed right down. Felt like I could've gone quicker but cramp wouldn't let me. The route down to the finish was very tame with lots of holding back. Overtook Little Rob who looked like he was suffering/shuffling and finished in 86th.
10mins down on last year so not great after some great Albania mountain legs a few weeks ago I think the only thing letting me down was cramp. Need to start using gels to assist this.

Mim drove us over to Wasdale and had to stop Thrice for puking sessions and ab cramp! Suffer fest!
