Newborough -testing day including a couple of horrendous navigational howlers, really messed up 3 by changing tactic mid leg so looking in completely wrong place. going to 15 misread paths and found myself in a block 500m to the West - no idea how -just getting tired

Note

Walked up Cader Idris with Mark and Alice, nice autumn day - in boots. Not too rough so ankle ok. Down had lots of 'improved' paths so knee challenge - quite glad to finish. Went anti- clockwise (6 miles)- not done this before. probably the 3.30-4.00 hrs was about right for now

Standard Purdown run but with wood both in and out. Much better run than of late, it is bone dry and it is light but I think that this time is fine. Could feel ankle but not doing any harm with this type of running. Knees addressed with IBF

BOK Army 'pop up' event at Mallards Pike S from New Fancy.
Ankle not 100% -very tentative but survived - lots of straight running through nice, flat woods - very slow and struggling with light forest floor debris.
Went 180 wrong out of start -ups, much to far south at three and had to hunt around for a couple of others but basically much to slow as well as ankle knees a bit sore at end.
Good days sport - much enjoyed- opportunity to improve running through woods

Note

Had planned to run on Burbage today but despite it being a sunny day rejected this option - I intend to give the ankle at least 48 hours in the hope that it will be ok for next weekend

Tankersley -compassport cup -as I am now a green man so short - really messy run probably tyying to hard (as short) in a wood that deserved more respect -lost needless time at 1,2, 6, 8,9,11,13 - not much at each one but a lot of half mins -so 5/6 mins slower than Pete Maliphant who did run well but was faster on virtually all the legs.
My ankle tweaked, for no apparant reason about 60% round. Pressed on with gritted teeth when it might have been wiser to stop.
Hurt like hell afterwards
