Saturday Sep 16 #

off road 1:08:00 [3] 6.0 mi (11:20 / mi)

CW - north from the Dog, struggling a bit -hills in particular seemed like hard work so switched to shortened version (end of Jane's wood). Time is a bit of a guess

Friday Sep 15 #

flat efforts 44:37 [5] 3.5 mi (12:45 / mi)

Pyramid on the Downs 30 ses, 1, 1.30, 2, 2.30, 3, 3 and down with max of 1.30 secs - little wind and not too hard but found this session, long, tough and tiring. Don't think that it was very quick but certainly trying hard.

Thursday Sep 14 #

off road 1:15:00 [3] 6.8 mi (11:02 / mi)

Portbury loop on a sunny morning avoiding showers and with minimum effect of complete traffic chaos on M5. Social run with Pete and Jo. Stops to look at the view, try to spot an elephant and sorting out the world excluded -so time a bit of a guess

Wednesday Sep 13 #

off road 58:25 [4] 6.0 mi (9:44 / mi)

Blaise Loop from car park, had to run hard to get this time, tired towards end but kept pushing. Knee not great

Tuesday Sep 12 #

off road 1:00:27 [3] 5.5 mi (10:59 / mi)

5 mins warm up and then Clapton in Gordano (Black Horse) loop in 55.27
Nice sunny morning, this together with the forecast of a storm this evening caused me to change my plan. I always find this run challenging (3 hills!) but enjoyable. No difference today and an afternoon snooze was almost inevitable

Monday Sep 11 #

off road 1:06:52 [3] 6.0 mi (11:09 / mi)

Afer suitable dosage of ibuprofen ran standard Purdown loop inc 3 hills, started a bit cautiously but knee no worse than in general usage so pressed on

Sunday Sep 10 #

Note

Another set back- knee bad after last run, so a couple of days off. Some controlling but no running
