Saturday Sep 28 #

1 AM

off road 13:00 [2] 0.7 km (18:34 / km)

Warm up
2 AM

orienteering race 1:06:00 [4] 5.8 km (11:23 / km)

Cadihoe Chase at Burrator DQ for second time in a week! this time did go to the wrong 10. Lost a bit of time 2 mins in heavy bracken. Thought I was quite quick from here to 7 but splits show I was actually quite a long way of the pace. Big error at 8 misread paths etc. (5+mins), should have done better here. So overall quite enjoyed the day but need to do better

Friday Sep 27 #

Note

Rest day

Thursday Sep 26 #

flat efforts 35:00 [5] 2.5 mi (14:00 / mi)

Run with Laura on the beach at Burnham 20 mins of 1 min on 30 secs off, difficult to count exact number as always. Breathing problematic

Wednesday Sep 25 #

1 AM

off road 10:00 [2] 0.5 km (20:00 / km)

Warm up
2 AM

orienteering race 1:34:56 [5] 9.2 km (10:19 / km)

MLS Event at Bramscott. The event was probably a bit too early in the year so lots of undergrowth. A few slips at various times during the race and one mistake (no 7 lost 3+ mins -silly) Enjoyed the run but EMIT card did not register no 18 so DQ - all a bit disappointing on what has been a bit of a disappointing day

Tuesday Sep 24 #

off road 58:56 [3] 6.0 mi (9:49 / mi)

BOK run from Failand - dark and intermittent rain. Probably under 10km but also did some warm up so nearer 6 miles in total

Monday Sep 23 #

off road 1:16:01 [3] 7.0 mi (10:52 / mi)

Wrington Warren run, had to park in Cleeve as forest car park was jammed packed and overflowing! How bizarre was that! The village hall was full of weight watchers and the Lord Nelson boarded up. How can a village with normally no signs of human activity be full of cars....
Ran ok to top of second hill and then raced to the finish, not exactly sure of the time as may have stopped watch early - I was expecting about 80 mins with extra distance.

Sunday Sep 22 #

off road 1:40:00 [3] 15.0 km (6:40 / km)

Run from Dave's front door around woods and fields outside Oxford. Ran early and quite steadily with Dave and Celia for first 10km and then quite quickly trying to hang on to Dave for last 5km. Quite hot and humid but avoided storm
