My (RHS) knee has been a bit sore before and after running so gave it a day off

Friday Jan 10, 2020 #

off road 1:43:06 [3] 8.0 mi (12:53 / mi)

Tinsel Trot, grey when I started but sunny by the time I reached the top (76mins) and unseasonally mild. Very, very wet across the Somme, both time and energy consuming. Do enjoy this route and a bit tired afterwards. Need to get some studs!

Thursday Jan 9, 2020 #

off road 1:12:00 [3] 6.0 mi (12:00 / mi)

Run on Purdown -not quite a standard route, but did have the usual hills. Not particularly wet but still typically greasy. Lacking in energy so a real plod

orienteering race 2:00:10 [4] 11.5 km (10:27 / km)

Barossa -a bit of an Army special for the Nick Baeston Trophy. Really messed up no 1, but kept on keeping on and not too many mistakes but not any faster splits. Really, really enjoyed this run and was quite tired at the end

Tuesday Jan 7, 2020 #

off road 1:04:50 [3] 6.0 mi (10:48 / mi)

Blaise Castle standard route, still a bit snotty but ran a bit better
Went over to Blaise to collect tabs from Planning course

Monday Jan 6, 2020 #

off road 1:08:00 [3] 6.0 mi (11:20 / mi)

Leigh Woods route, quite 'achy' and 'snotty' still but better than yesterday
A bit damp when I left the car and dreadful by the end - did not stop watch, rather got rid of wet clothes. Urg...

Sunday Jan 5, 2020 #

off road 1:45:00 [2] 7.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

After what seems like ages moping around with a cold I ventured out for a slow potter to see how I was and...…..I am not great......and I am not terrible.
Down the cycle path along through the estates/ park on W side of Frome, Frechay, Moorend back along the community path. Quite flat varied and generally just nice being out
