Saturday Mar 7 #

off road 1:07:00 [3] 5.0 mi (13:24 / mi)

Purdown, ran late in the day, muddy but conditions quite good, slow again

Friday Mar 6 #

off road 1:25:00 [3] 7.0 mi (12:09 / mi)

CW north from the Dog. Slowed by mud in many places -made the turn in 40 but took much longer back. True not trying very hard and enjoying the sunshine but a bit strange

Thursday Mar 5 #

off road 49:00 [3] 4.0 mi (12:15 / mi)

Wet and short of time, so just went to Oldbury Court

Wednesday Mar 4 #

off road 10:00 [3] 0.8 km (12:30 / km)

Warm up

orienteering 1:09:57 [5] 8.9 km (7:52 / km)

MLS Minley, not the most difficult of orienteering areas and not the most difficult of courses. But they did have good variation including lengths of legs
A bit hesitant early just checking that I was going to right controls and a couple of 30 secs losing paths 4-5 going needlessly off forest road 5-6 when I had map upside down but mostly clean, tiring towards end. Managed to sneak in in front of Alice Hurrah!

Tuesday Mar 3 #

off road 1:04:01 [3] 6.0 mi (10:40 / mi)

Ashton court run -a bit warmer and less wind so bravely ran in shorts and tee shirt -albeit with cag in bum bag. Had to divert as deer park closed by bad dog behavior

Monday Mar 2 #

off road 1:07:01 [3] 6.0 mi (11:10 / mi)

Standard Blaise run, conditions better and tried quite hard, so had hoped for a slightly better time but still all training at Blaise is testing. I noticed again that my foot seems to be pronating more which could be associated with ankle soreness or shoes?

Sunday Mar 1 #

off road 1:04:01 [3] 5.0 mi (12:48 / mi)

Standard Swineford run -again very wet and some obstacles
