flat efforts 54:00 [5] 4.0 mi (13:30 / mi)

Oldbury Court session 11x 2mins with 90 secs. First for somewhile and not getting far so, ran a bit further and ate into the rest. First session of the year and at least I did it

Thursday Mar 12, 2020 #

off road 1:08:00 [3] 6.0 mi (11:20 / mi)

Run around Blaise late in the afternoon, managed to avoid the hail. Windy but
mild. Thought I might be a bit quicker than last time but actually slower!

Wednesday Mar 11, 2020 #

off road 1:28:00 [3] 7.5 mi (11:44 / mi)

Ashton Court -felt like an April showers day but mild and I avoided the rain. Different route, did Abbots Pool loop first and then ran shorter version of Park loop -ha,ha cannot say slower than normal, although it probably was!

Tuesday Mar 10, 2020 #

off road 1:31:02 [3] 7.5 mi (12:08 / mi)

Frome valley, wet and initially overdressed as very mild. Was trying quite hard and quite disappointed when I looked at the watch, no idea how I managed to take this long -perhaps I was abducted by aliens on route

Monday Mar 9, 2020 #

off road 1:11:00 [3] 6.0 mi (11:50 / mi)

Leigh Woods run, quite a nice sunny day some bits quite muddy

Warm up

orienteering race 45:44 [5] 6.9 km (6:38 / km)

A quick bash around Minchinhampton. Really a long Sprint race, it stayed on the top and the many controls were not hidden -really set compass and run, albeit as it turns out much slower than most, winner Owain did 31 mins. Very flustered at the start, so missed 2 then bearing went wrong going to 16, so probably in total less than 2 mins lost and I did try hard, although you cannot tell from results.
