Cold Ashton Loop. Sunny first thing but by the time I ran very grey with strong wind but still mild. Cow meadows as expected muddy but also many of the other sections as well. My heart was not really into fighting the mud so turned into a bit of a plod. May do you good though? Could feel the RHS calf which I noticed on Sunday but not yesterday
Quite a warm spring like day. Ran quite late in the afternoon from the Dog, north up the CW. Ran quite hard but a bit slower to the turn but pushed hard on return. This is about as quick as I can do at the moment
Ran at Bradley Stoke, using the premise that I would stay on the tarmac and try different routes. No zip in the legs and so was not weakening by the end and managing to keep on top of the map reading. Definitely a lot slower (10%?) than when I have run Urban in this type of estate before. Enjoyed doing something different. (Still warm and damp) Slight twinge in RHS calf -don't want that
