off road 1:25:16 [3] 8.0 mi (10:39 / mi)

Begbrook, Frenchay, Oldbury Court, Eastville Park and Purdown. Mostly pretty straight but a loop up the Frenchay Hill and included Daffodil Hill

Friday Mar 26, 2021 #

off road 20:00 [2] 1.5 mi (13:20 / mi)

I had got time to squeeze in a short run. Actually had just about warmed up but not feeling right so cut straight back -probably a good idea as session would have been a token effort anyway

road run 30:21 [3] 3.0 mi (10:07 / mi)

Turns out that the last trip to the Mazda dealer to do the mandatory work was not quite as successful as the man at the desk thought as they did not have the new part so had not done the work, so need for Plan B.

road run 27:05 [3] 3.0 mi (9:02 / mi)

Tried to run a bit quicker on way back down....not terribly stylish!

Wednesday Mar 24, 2021 #

off road 1:02:45 [3] 6.0 mi (10:28 / mi)

I went to Leigh Woods as forecast was quite indifferent. It turned out to be a really nice day with good running conditions. Ran in my O shoes because I became aware of a sore patch on my right heel. These shoes rubbed by LHS little toe....ah well

Tuesday Mar 23, 2021 #

off road 52:42 [3] 4.0 mi (13:11 / mi)

Oldbury Court 13 x 2 mins with 90 secs. Getting further than previous in good conditions, which is pleasing

Monday Mar 22, 2021 #

off road 58:37 [3] 6.0 mi (9:46 / mi)

In a rush to add this one to the log as its a sub 60 clocking and there are not going to be too many of those. A bit disjointed with several stops for dogs etc. mostly timed out but you do get a short rest also a small corner cut but all taking into account the watch time is representative and it was definitely sub 60 and there won't be many of those. Conditions ideal; mild, no wind, no mud but not rock hard. Started quite quickly and running, particularly breathing, seemed much easier than of late - its really good to get a day that is encouraging.

Sunday Mar 21, 2021 #

off road 1:38:58 [3] 9.0 mi (11:00 / mi)

Ran from Upton Cheyney rather than Swineford as car park was full. So started running down the hill, then up to race course, past Langridge Church and back round the Battlefield. Nice sunny spring day and ideal conditions. Did find both the hills challenging and put in quite a bit of effort. 4 mins slower than last May but probably as good as I could do at the moment
