Running long (Beer Run) 4:20:00 [3] 42.0 km (6:11 / km) +640m 5:45 / km
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 6 (August 2016

Feel like the beer didn't help my physical effort. The breaks were a bit long so I'd be completely cold by the time we got going again but I actually never really felt like I needed to go into that shuffle mode that I sometimes need to go into to finish these super long runs.

Netty 36:00 [3]

A tragic loss. Today I learned that when applying the "held ball" rule in netball, 3 seconds is really more like 5 or 6 seconds. There were probably 10 times the opposition held onto the ball for an eternity and never got penalised for it. Could have turned the tide of the game!

Running (Street-O Merewether) 47:14 [4] 11.27 km (4:11 / km) +146m 3:56 / km
shoes: Mizuno Wave Hitogami 3

2nd street-O of the season. Didn't go so well. But treated it more like a training session. Bit toasted after the massive speed session yesterday. I'll definitely need an easy day tomorrow.

Running warm up/down 24:36 [2] 4.78 km (5:09 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Hitogami 3

Running to and from street-O.

Running (Flyers 10*500) 53:00 [3] 10.3 km (5:09 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Hitogami 3

10*500 seems like a lot of running. Intervals were between 1:30 at the highest and 1:24 at the lowest averaging around 1:27 with about 1:15-20 rest between them. I think I might be doing these workouts a tad fast, possibly burning a few matches.

Running 53:48 [4] 12.71 km (4:14 / km) +258m 3:51 / km
shoes: Mizuno Wave Hitogami 3

Very wet rainy run to Merewether and back. Been lazy the last few days with the wedding and stuff so I forced myself to get out despite the shitty weather. I'm fiddling with a few things technique wise to get some more speed out of myself. I think I need to work on getting more follow through after the foot hits the ground. I don't get my foot high enough. Don't seem to use my hamstring enough, and too much quads.
