Felt good for first few miles - in the 6:50s but didn't feel too hard. Legs felt a little tired shortly after that. I tried to maintain 'effort' but steadily slowed. For the last hour or so, there were some threats of leg cramps, I had no interest in pushing myself so let that be my excuse for plodding along. Walked at mile 21 drinking my water, walked up 35 overpass 1 mile from the end from cramping calves. I didn't feel 'hot', drank a good amount and used some ice, but still blaming my bad race on the heat and humidity, maybe didn't respect that enough.
