Redhead trails - first time there. Hamstring icky, but not terrible - I took it fairly easy - Rudy wasn't feeling too energetic anyhow.

Started a run with Rudy - Hawk's Ridge - just after a mile in, rolled left ankle and right leg just would not catch me so a little tumble. Made right hamstring worse. Tried to walk it off then shuffle but finally gave up and walked back. via Skyline

Run (Warmup) 13:15 [3] 1.46 mi (9:04 / mi) +112ft 8:28 / mi
ahr:144 max:166 shoes: Hoka Challenger 6

with Keith Thompson

Run race (NMTC - Billings Drive) 35:23 [4] 4.55 mi (7:47 / mi) +225ft 7:26 / mi
ahr:155 max:175 shoes: Altra Lone Peak 8

First mile 7:06 - felt hard but sustainable
A few minutes later left ankle roll caused the right hamstring to sieze up catching myself - didn't totally loosen back up but managed to gradually up the pace over the next 3 miles (8:07, 7:59, 7:47) and still felt like a good hard effort toward the end. Disappointing, but a risk I took with an iffy hamstring and lack of speed training!
