Attempted to run despite very tender and strained feeling in my left hamstring.

I'm so sick of fighting my body. As soon as my calf feels better my left hamstring poops the bed. If it weren't so damn sad and frustrating, it would be hilarious. It's like a big cosmic joke that I was without injuries for so many years and now all of the aches, pains and injuries are coming back for their revenge.

Better safe than sorry. After left hamstring soreness lingered following yesterday's run, I decided to skip regular running today.
