Running (Chariot with Hank) 1:28:32 [1] 17.85 km (4:58 / km) +185m 4:43 / km

With Annie having a sleepover at my mom's, I decided to go pick her up in the chariot with Hanky...with a ~10km detour.

Old Reliable - Queensway - Lower Humber - Stephen Drive - Kings Mill Park - Etienne Brulé - Home Smith - James Gardens - 240 Scarlett.

Hank's playlist:

Interpol - Turn On The Bright Lights (2002)

Start to finish.

With Paul Banks' angsty belt, and Carlos Dengler's moody bass lines, Hank didn't have a chance. Sleeping just before the first riff of Obstacle 1. Interpol's far and away best album. The other stuff is just 'meh'.

Destroyer - Kaputt (2011)

Start to finish.

...kept Hank sleeping. This is oddball Vancouverite Dan Bejar's only listenable full album. He does have a smattering of wicked songs here and there over the years, but most of his extremely large catalogue is unapproachable. (Including most New Pornographers stuff, of which he's a member)

2 PM

Running (Chariot with Hank) 48:12 [2] 9.6 km (5:01 / km)

Home from mom's.

Scarlett - James Gardens - Home Smith - St. Mark's Hill - Babypoint - Annette - Railpath - home.

St. Mark's hill was a devilish climb.

Hank's playlist:

Deerhunter - Wash Off
Hot Chip - Huarache Lights
MGMT - Kids
James Blake - Lindisfarne I
Fugees - The Score
Gary Numan - Tracks
The National - Squalor Victoria
Parquet Courts - What Color Is Blood
Sandro Perri - The Mime
The National - Secret Meeting
Kendrick Lamar - YAH.
