Orienteering 55:00 [2]

Navigated through some of the 2006 NAOC Middle Distance controls at Richardson Tract.

Recent ice storms have kicked the shit outta of the woods. Tough running with lots of downed trees.

Still terrible at orienteering...but fun terrain to navigate terribly in...(became a perpetual relocation session...just no confidence when running at any kind of speed).

Orienteering race 1:07:00 [3]

Forgot how to orienteer today. Just not in tune with the map, (I guess the 1:5000 scale threw me off...no excuse though)...lost all confidence in my navigation after a 20 minute relocation exercise early on.

Physically felt great. Thinking of running around with a Rocky Ridge map tomorrow morning after work.

Kitchener Farmer's Market with my sister's family afterwards.

Fun day.

Running (Chariot with Anabel) 40:01 [3] 8.64 km (4:38 / km)

High Park with Anabel. Howard Park-Roncesvalles-Bloor-Symington finish.

Took advantage of probably the last spring-like autumn day of the year. Super mild. Nice nice.

Knee fine.

Anabel's playlist:

Full album:

Lower Dens - Escape From Evil

(Almost got through the whole thing.)

Anabel concurs that with 6 or 7 standouts, (2 or 3 being stunners), it's one of the best albums of the year.

Her and I are suckers for angsty songstresses.

Note

MRI shows a 'horizontal cleavage tear in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus.'

...and some mild osteoarthritis.

So that's that.
