Physio (Calf/achilles) 40:00 [0]

Injury is most likely a strain at junction of tendon/soleus most likely caused by running on new shoes - which are not the same model as my old ones.

Same same routine. Feeling a bit better.

Going to give it a go for 20 minutes today.

Physio (Calf/Achilles ) 1:00:00 [0]

Some assessment. Some massage. Some rolling. Some stretches. Some exercises. Some review. Some acupuncture.
Some more on Wednesday and Friday.

Last 2 pairs of shoes were New Balance trail runners, which did me well.

Switched to these Saucony road things because a majority of my training is pounding pavement. <----------- probably screwed things up and was told not to eff with something that was working already.

I nodded and said, 'I know, I know, you're right'.

Mapping (Ribboning and the whatnot) 2:00:00 [1]

At Dryden Tract.

Final ribbons.

Attempted to run - calf fail again. The effin' thing is being a real effer, for eff sakes!

Not pleased.

Can't wait for physio on Monday.

Mapping (Fieldchecking/scouting) 3:30:00 [1]

The rest of Little Tract.

It's little. It's narrow. It's tough to course set.

Every swale, bump, dip and pebble is mapped. It's a little overkill, but it was done so accurately that the detail isn't a nuisance. DD did an amazing job as a 17/18 year old.

Lovely place.
