Note

Feeling a lot better.

But...I couldn't justify leaving my super sick wife with 2 sick kids to go orienteer in the rain this afternoon.

Too bad. I was itching for some racing.

Cut the day short. Exhausted and achy. Thanh didn't make it to work today herself.

Currently sweating it out in bed. Considering locking the door of our room, turning our phones off and letting our nanny and our neighbours figure out Hank.

Annie will have to sleep at school tonight.

Running 46:49 [3] 10.7 km (4:23 / km) +52m 4:16 / km

Modified Old Reliable cruise.

Railpath - Sorauren - Fermanagh - Roncesvalles - Marion - zigzag to Parkside - SW High Park - Colborne Lodge - Grenadier Pond - Bloor - Pacific - Humberside - Annette/Dupont - tour of condo lands on SW corner at Lansdowne - Ward - Wallace - Rankin - home.

Kinda weary starting out with my surgery knee going schizo lately. It held up, but definitely feels weak. On it though, as I've been doing my one-legged, eyes closed squats more frequently. They always seem to sort things out down there - at least a bit.

Loving the potential of my neighbourhood (Junction Triangle) for sprint racing.

Railways are super route choice barriers, and the surrounding rail lands, roads, and neighbourhoods have some interesting buildings, parks, laneways and angles.

The railway tracks are the key though!

I think my new favourite album of the year!

Much maligned (even hated) British shoegazers rendered meaningless in the mid 90's due to Oasis's popularity, reunited in 2014 to produce much of the same ethereal sounds from their past, this time to critical acclaim. Definitely some present day validity.

Anyhow the album is fantastic - beautiful - emotive. Start to finish no weak tracks. The final 3 IMO truly make the album a stunner.

Great single - Sugar For The Pill

My fave - No Longer Making Time

Good friend had me earmarked for tickets to their Massey Hall concert on Friday night, but Thanh made plans long in advance.

Unfortunately missed a great show. I was told...

"Mark you would have revelled in there last night - it was right in your wheel house."

Argh!!
