I haven't logged it, but I've been dealing with quite the bionic flu-ish thing for over 3 weeks now. It's currently a dry hacking cough which ups the ante at bedtime.

It's getting to be a little much. Haven't run the last few days because of it.

Isn't it a Swedish thing to refrain from physical activity when you're sick?...or maybe it's just a common sense thing.

Got out to our first Raps game tonight. Solid home win. The second unit (especially VanVleet and Poeltl) were the difference makers.

ACC has finally shed its 'small town Ontario hockey rink' food service offering. A lot more selection.

Our 'Raptors Ambassador' Drake was there tonight. So not a fan of that dink.

8x St. Mark's hill - turns out it's a pansy hill (25m). Toronto has slight rises, not hills. Still a decent workout.

Oh, and the iPhone altimeter is bonkos. Strava told me 48 metres of climb.

Forerunner should be arriving soon.

Note

Aborted an Old Reliable this afternoon. Really though, it was going to be 45-60 minutes of the same pace and routine. Legs felt off anyway.

The plan is to attack St. Mark's Hill tomorrow for some repeats.

Otherwise a breezy day.

Morning at the aquarium just as it opened - before the masses.

Highlights were an ultra large stingray scaring the shit out of Anabel (and me) with an attempted dolphin-like kiss.

And Hank tripping himself out with mirrors and jellyfish:

Afternoon highlight was the kids hammering back persimmons and 'contemporary dancing' to 'Portishead - Dummy' start to finish - in between some pencil-crayoning.



A haunting and visceral 90's classic.
