Road running 55:00 [2]

Run with Anita and Regnly along Victoria Pt and loop through Beacon Hill.

Trail running 52:00 [2]

Run through the trails at Lost Lake in the wet snow. Even though it was before 7pm, we didn't see another soul out. I imagine most Whistlerites were either tucked in with a cup of tea and a good book or getting ready to watch the Canucks/Oilers.

Road running 20:00 [1]

Jogging tour of Victoria's inner harbour with Anita and Regnly. Nice morning and super pretty.

Trail running 1:10:00 [2]

Run through Thetis Park with Anita and Regnly after the conference. Nice afternoon - running in shorts felt nice after the last several days in gloves and toque.

Road running 15:00 [1]

Quick leg stretcher before heading off to the airport.
On the road again...

Road running 50:00 [2]

The travel transition did not go smoothly in Vancouver and so we missed our 5pm reservation at the ferry by minutes. So, Regnly and I went for a run at Tsawassen along the beach. Nice houses looking out over the straight.

Trail running 2:00:00 [2]

Run in the snow, again at the ski trails. Lots of squish in them today. Just tilt this area 20 degrees on it's side and you have Trondheim.

Trail running 1:45:00 [3]

Churning the mud at the Cochrane ski trails... Felt surprisingly good today and the strides at the end felt nice.

Road bike 15:00 [2]

Took a spin on Wil's carbon soloist. Not a bad ride.

Trail running 1:31:00 [2]

Ran out the back fields to the 4-wheeler tracks and followed them past the high school and over to the local x-c ski trails. The trails were pretty wet and soggy and I was glad I wore my O-shoes. I can still feel the left ankle on sketchy downhills - will definitely be a 'fixin' priority this winter. There were some marshy sections of the trails that were pretty soft so I can say the run was Trondheim relevant training. Stopped to watch a red fox and startled a huge owl from its perch. Also saw tons of partridge on the trails. All in all a better day than the forecast so you have to be happy about that.

Road running 27:00 [3]

Easy run with Wil around one of his loops, after work and before dinner.

Mtn bike 2:31:00 [2]

This was really a road ride, on a mountain bike. Did a big loop around Cochrane. Started off by heading north with a massive tail wind. Planned to ride until either fatigue or ennui set in. Today it was the latter. Turned around at an hour and immediately realized what an issue the wind would be on the way home. Luckily I had a couple of Reese PB cups on hand to see me through it.
