Skate Skiing race 1:28:35 [4] ***

Ummm yeah. .I was going along quite well when I lost my map somewhere between 10 and 11. So I just skii'd around for a bit before coming in. Comparing with others who were around my time puts me in around 1:30-. Too frustrated to post splits, but I did feel yesterday in my legs and am somewhat surprised the output I can put down when in a race environment. The skiing is starting to come along.

Strength (Workout #3) 30:00 [2]

Stretching 5:00 [1]

Spinning 20:00 [1]

Tried to keep heartrate down around 100. Just wanted to spin out legs.

Skate Skiing race 1:38:32 [5] *
spiked:18/18c

My first ski-O. Not a hero at skiing, but I faired much better than I would have expected. Round 2 tomorrow.

Oh, and I judge it at level 5 due to:
- so-so technical skiing skills
- cold, dry coughing at end
- asthmatic breathing feeling
- rubber legs

Running hills (Kenna Cartwright) 1:18:00 [3]
slept:8.0 weight:81.2kg

Shorts! Woo hoo! Beautiful day even with the mud and ice.

Sometimes I could run forever, but then I get tired...

Skate Skiing 1:30:00 [3]

Mid-day skate - didn't feel the greatest. Poorly hydrated - the Americano just doesn't last that long...

Note

So upon arriving home dehydrated from the skate I found a brand new Tanita BC-552 Ironman scale waiting for me. I'm to do a product review on this item and post on SleepMonsters.ca.

So here's the juicy details:
82.2 kg, 13.3% body fat, 57.9%water, 67.7 kg muscle, 2061 BMR

I was a helluva lot happier to see my bf at this level vs. the formula calculations based on height/weight that put me around 25+% (obese). Anyway, not the best test as I was on this directly after training and quite dehydrated. Pretty cool scale though.

Hock-ay 1:15:00 [3]

2 hours ice time with a 15 minute endurance "last goal wins" at the end in which nobody scored and we finally called it a tie...

Strength (Workout #2) 30:00 [2]

Spinning 30:00 [3]

Did the rowing maching (15min) and bike (15min) at the gym to make an hour out of it.

Running 55:00 [2]

Easy run with Brent. Would be a "1" but it was in the hills and I did a few repeats.
