Interclub, Mingara Regional Athletics Track. 9am-6.30pm. 28°C.
Haven't been back to this track since the Central Coast was part of our Little Athletics region in 2009. Recently resurfaced in a nice shade of blue. The weather warmed up in the afternoon after a passing shower in the morning. Quite a long day, especially as the host club only had enough competition hurdles for 2 lanes, plus 3 lanes with little athletics ones (these don't have weights to provide resistance).
4 x 400mH, 1 x 300mH, 4 x 200mH, 21 x 100m, 5 x 800m, 21 x 200m, 2 walks, 8 x hurdles, 8 x 400m, 4 x 1500m. Reported 2 athletes for pretty obviously infringements: 400mH boy for his trailing leg going around the hurdles instead of over (TR 22.6.1); 400m girl for running out of her lane on the bend (TR 17.3.1). Both resulted in DQs, especially as other umpires reported the same athletes in different parts of the track.
Bethany ran an 800 (2:16), 200 (26.20) & 400 (59.43) but wasn't too happy with her times.

Rain.
Received an unsolicited cheap electric toothbrush delivery today from China. Bethany thinks this is a 'brushing' e-commerce scam where an on-line retailers tries to artificially boost their sales and ratings. The package had my name, address and mobile.

Centennial Park<>The Rocks. Parked at CP by 6.30 so I could ride to the Oz Day 10K wheelchair race at the Rocks by 7am. Appointed as referee this year. Only 12 wheelies due to international/state travel restrictions - usually 50+. Caught up to a couple of police on bikes at the end of Oxford Street so I couldn't sneak through any of the just-turn-red lights along College and Macquarie Streets. 22/33°C. TE 2.0.
