Okay, so, February is done. Since I set goals for February, time to review them:

Did I ski 500km? Yes, 519.

Did I ski five Birkies over the course of 10 days? Not quite. I skied three single skis >43k, one of which was 75k, and skied a total of 4.2 Birkies. The weather didn't exactly help.

Over 50h for the month (first time since Oct) and lots of vert, since some of that skiing was AT skiing. Over 20km D+, and that's without Wednesdays and Fridays. Highest distance month … ever.

So, March. I don't want to get too specific, because it's very weather-dependent. Warm and dry? Lots of Fells and Blue Hills time. Cold and moist? Heading north. I guess I'll go for 45h, 100 miles of running (since I want to run a 100m this summer for the ITRA points) and 10 concerted efforts at a core workout.

Fun run today after some core work. Out along Comm Ave into the wind, then Harvard Bridge, then back with the wind, which was windy. But not too cold yet. Superb sunset over the partially melted river kept me turning back along the Esplanade.

And then with about a mile to go I … had to go. Not a lot of trees to duck behind, and I almost went behind a highway ramp but it was right next to the other highway ramp, and eventually I just ran all the way back and micturated with selerity.
