Bicycle 1:21:49 [1] 20.9 mi (3:55 / mi) +151m 3:50 / mi

Out on the bicycle, for more non-ankle-tastic training. Didn't have enough time to go on a long ride but at least got some hills. Felt pretty good except it was way too warm to be December. Boo.

Rollerski long 2:04:09 [1] 16.5 mi (7:31 / mi) +264m 7:10 / mi

This felt good. Ankle still bothering me meant that I was not about to do anything like classic, which is a good way to turn an ankle. But a big skate boot cinched tight? That sounds like a good idea! Almost entirely double poling with a lot of juniors and just one Alex, so I did my best to keep tabs on them. Double-poled the entire big hill as they no-poles strided, which meant I had a while to go back and forth at the top. Ankle felt fine, and arms felt okay the next day.

Core 12:00 [1]

50x bench dips, push ups, sit ups, 16x pull ups. Ankle still hurting. No running. Ugh.

Wednesday Dec 2, 2015 #

Core 15:00 [1]

Starting easy with core, since my ankle might be effed and I can't run and there's no snow and rollerskiing is a dark, wet and leafy endeavor. 50 sit ups, 50 push ups, 50 bench dips, 30 pull ups.

Run 25:30 [1] 3.25 mi (7:51 / mi)

Run to Trader Joes. Still worried about the ankle. Felt fine during the run but sore when I woke up today. Soreness is on the outside, right where the bone (end of the fibula?) forms a ball. Point tenderness. But no pain when weight bearing. I did not go to stairs on Wednesday because of this.

Question: how much should I be resting this, what else should I be doing, and is is okay to do things like rollerskiing/double poling or should I keep weight off of it entirely?

Ugh.
