Out this morning with new grooming on the Keeney! So we went up that, then down the Hall, then turned around to go back over. Glad I was convinced to ski classic, although my back may feel it tomorrow.

John had to get back to Boston so we had less than an hour: just enough time to go for a lap of the wave. Which was in great shape. Although the Yodel up and down was kind of a mess. More snow would be good, at least this should freeze down well.

Late start after some long days, up to Jackson with John, to ski with him and Lincoln and Jess. Not great grooming but it was okay up Hall and mostly good down Keeney with some open water/dirt/ice bars we had to slow down for. Then out the Ellis and back, getting chilly as it got dark. Beautiful views of the mountains!

After two wire-to-wire days I'm realizing training isn't really happening this week if it's not at 6:30. Woke up before the alarm, over to hills. Back hills, front hills, and stairs. Felt really good, actually, on the hills, pounded down the front hill (cadence of 220, staying on my toes, quiet feet) and then back up and down the stairs. Had time for three full hills, pushing hard on the ups, but touching every stair.

And the all-important 85m bike ride to NP.

50 sections, not super-duper hard but going at a reasonable clip. Chilly today (so long sleeve t-shirt). 37:15 is about a minute off my 50 PR IIRC.

Need to get the HRM fixed …

Cooling down with half a dozen very slow sections to get to half a mile. Extra 100m won't hurt. Day puts me over 90,000 for the year!

Had to leave bounding early, so out for a pre-warmup warmup. Different other trail, would make an excellent A climb.

2x bound. Racing/pacing … someone. Going reasonably fast. Chili from lunch still being chili.
