Trail Run 1:18:40 [1] 8.81 mi (8:56 / mi) +233m 8:15 / mi
ahr:116 max:132

Most of yellow, most of white.

Parked where there was space, onto yellow, cut off the very end where it goes away from the parking lot.

On to white, and would have done the rest of it plus the rest of yellow but I was out of water. Nice in the shade, but warm. Felt pretty good on the trails, nice to run easy trails that AP thinks are roads.

Bikeshare Score-O 7:10 [1] 0.85 mi (8:26 / mi) +20m 7:51 / mi
ahr:153 max:193

All the bike share points. Accidentally kept the watch on for the one uphill bike I did on an e-bike at 15 mph so cut that out (20ยข worth of e-bike to make $1.20, although I have credits).

Bikeshare Score-O 25:32 [1] 3.14 mi (8:08 / mi) +84m 7:31 / mi
ahr:153 max:191

Then off to do errands and run more bikes. Thank goodness there was a bubbler at the top of the hill.

Didn't log the bikes but kept the elevation since I did ride up those hills!

Run 49:20 [1] 5.33 mi (9:16 / mi) +24m 9:08 / mi
ahr:171 max:202

Run with Elena and Dan.

Dan's birthday was on Sunday. Wound up in a living room with the 1988 OTQ 4th place finisher on one side (2:14) and women's cross-country record-holder on the other. Everyone is a Harvard professor.

I guess I'm the only one who made the front page of the Globe the day after the marathon, though.

Bikeshare Score-O 15:38 [1] 1.77 mi (8:50 / mi) +29m 8:24 / mi
ahr:126 max:194

Move some bikes, then a long ride to Newton to drop a bike at the ROD and then run to O. 52 minutes including some extra bike movement; apparently Larry and Sara Mae sat on Western Ave for half an hour (I wouldn't have, but still).

Orienteering 22:59 [3] 2.19 mi (10:30 / mi) +83m 9:23 / mi
ahr:114 max:118

Felt okay with the O today. Ran the first few controls well, losing some time because I just didn't want muddy shoes. I ran 8 well, saw the control, and thought "nah, that's not my control" and circled around it for a bit, so another minute lost. Edmands has just enough terrain and trees to actually feel like woods.

Run 12:59 [1] 1.37 mi (9:29 / mi) +24m 8:59 / mi
ahr:136 max:180

Run up to other bike, run home.

Bicycle 56:00 [1] 11.0 mi (5:05 / mi)

Bike share to/from Newton. On the way home I ran up to Comm Ave to get a bike to a) mostly bike downhill and b) avoid the ROD.

Bikeshare Score-O 5:21 [1] 0.66 mi (8:06 / mi)
ahr:110 max:178

Running late enough to NP to do a Bikeshare Score-O.

There was only an e-bike there and my preferences are that if there is only an e-bike I can ride it free as an "e-bike with low assist."

I actually liked this more than the e-bike with full assist. It's still easier than a regular bike. The acceleration is helped a lot, but it doesn't jump when you put your foot on the pedal. And the speed tops out at about 12 mph, not 18. It also doesn't hit a top speed and then accelerate and decelerate. Wouldn't exactly seek it out, but nice to know it works.

Stadiums 29:54 [4] 1.06 mi (28:12 / mi) +524m 11:07 / mi
ahr:109 max:133

I knew I wasn't going to PR today, but thought mid-20s might be doable. But it was warm in the sun and while I did reasonably, I got to the shade and couldn't cool down. I had to lie down on the steps at section 10 to bleed some heat off (in addition to drinking water; I didn't bring anything frozen) before slowing down for a few sections. Forgot how hot the sun is this time of year.

Bikeshare Score-O 19:53 [1] 2.27 mi (8:46 / mi) +9m 8:39 / mi
ahr:109 max:132

Lifted the heavy things (2x, so I didn't hurt too much today) and then went for a bike share run home to keep both hope and my streak alive.

Run 29:56 [1] 3.55 mi (8:26 / mi) +80m 7:53 / mi
ahr:189 max:201

Well all of Memorial Day weekend can't be beautiful. Today was the rainy, cool day. Long walk earlier, and then a short run in the rain.
