I thought this workout actually went pretty well for me. I didnt think i'd be able to hit the goal times but i wanted to try on the first two. It was going well through that point and then it started raining before the 3rd interval and by the start of the 4th the track was flooding and my shoes were waterlogged. I don't think I would've run much faster than my 2nd interval if it hadn't been raining like it was but it was definitely harder to run once it did. I still had some energy left after the last one but i didn't want to kick through the last one because my legs were starting to strain with the extra weight in my shoes. I always get the worst weather for this workout, but I think it went alright.

ran farther up HOD trail today. and when it got to a point where the road curverd around on a loop i saw a hiking trail that cut the loop off and just wet straight up. i only had 2 minutes until i turned around so i went up it instead. I actually saw a lot of smaller trails today with the rain from last night washing off loose leaves, didnt realize there were so many of them. it was a pretty good run today and the rain died down for most of it so i wasn't completely soaked by the end.

long run on viking trail and up to the old mill. I ran on the trail on the way there and off to the side of the trail on the way back. it was a good run but afterwards i didnt eat soon enough and almost passed out getting dinner.

couldnt get to mountain campus before dark today for the 2x 40m and 2x 200m hills so i did a 6x 400m and 4x 200m workout on the track instead and just jogged 20mm for rest in between.
