WOW! My biggest run since my last surgery - feeling awesome! My hip actually felt quite stiff this morning - but not painful, so I tried to loosen it up nicely with stretching and yoga - but the running actually helped loosen it after about 3km!
Culbin Forest is gorgeous to run around... and Becky did a great navigation job!
The trail today was challenging, with a lot of sections working on our fell running technique off the paths, a range of surfaces including stone, rock, sand, track etc... and some tough climbs! We also carried water/fuel/kit with us on our backs which was new! But our pace really wasn’t super slow at all, despite some walking sections! Feeling strong! And I will keep building building slowly slowly :D
