Running 45:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:38 / km) +151m 5:08 / km
ahr:162 max:184 shoes: HOKA TRAIL SHOES

Feeling great on this morning run - best way to start the day and hips felt incredible - genuinely no pain!
I ran around blue farm, octagon, gibbit hill, punch bowl cafe and then back XC along deer path - my favourite 8km/5mile Run round home - my last one in a long time as I am driving to Edinburgh today! It was great to get movement in before a long day in the car!
I felt quite a lot of soreness in my left arch today so I am going to do some work on that over the next few weeks. It was fine in general just awareness. I really loved this run and felt super
fit even on the tough hills!

9 AM

Running 57:00 [3] 10.0 km (5:42 / km) +36m 5:36 / km
ahr:158 max:185 shoes: HOKA TRAIL SHOES

AMAZING finale/beginning run with Julia in Eastbourne!
We ran along the seafront which was lovely - despite it absolutely pouring it down with rain!
We ran the session by warming up for 10/15 mins of jogging, and then did 20 x (1 min run, 1 min jog) and then 5 mins of gentle cool down jogging.
I felt very fit and strong and loved running with Julia. My leg is still a little stiff/sore - ecspecially after 2 hours of driving! - but it felt much better and running does help flow it out. I just have to re centre my stride and essence and I can work with any pain or tightness that comes up.
Fab way to start the day :) !

Note

Felt very tired and a little out of alignment today... letting the body recharge and regenerate with an early night so that I can prepare and be ready for my day with Julia tommorow. An entering into the new phase of life and work <3 ]
Leg feeling better today as well which is great.

Steps: Only 3500 today - not fab... but moving forward with faith and determination.

Cycling 1:00:00 [3] 16.9 km (3:33 / km) +313m 3:15 / km
ahr:133 max:164

Great outside cycle to get the blood pumping! I really enjoyed the usual route - feeling more confident on the off road and stronger on the hills each time (higher gears!) - legs feeling a lot better which is good.
I am still getting the training done on these less focused days - and that is great.

Note

Morning Stretch: DONE
Evening Stretch: DONE
Physio - no as S/C done :)
Steps: 10700

- Leg feeling a lot better today after a range of movement - taping also did magic. Breathing love and positivity into the pain really does work! <3

Yoga 10:00 [2]

1 PM

Cycling 10:00 [2] 3.5 km (2:51 / km)

Cycle down to the gym - I really like cycling to sessions as it just gets a little bit more training and practice on the actual bike in :)
Home - Weydown Road - Station - Herons

Running warm up/down (Treadmill ) 10:00 [2] 1.8 km (5:33 / km)
shoes: Cloud Shoes :)

Nice little warm up jog on the treadmill. This was great - my leg had been feeling dodgy and it did feel a little limited still but I taped it up and chucked on some deep heat and thought I would test it out with a little warm up - it felt good! Much better than yesterday <3
2 PM

Strength and Conditioning 20:00 [3]

When leg is feeling funny/injury highlighted I do a reduced S/C to work the muscles but not push them :) still great work for the body!
It felt REALLY good and leg not bad at all - relaxing and breathing love really does work!

Spinning 20:00 [3] 10.0 km (2:00 / km)

Part of the Myride Spin session - great to get some speed work on the bike and a sweat on!
3 PM

Cycling 15:00 [2] 3.8 km (3:57 / km)

Bike ride home - much slower as up the tough hill!
Herons - Station - Weydown Hill - through the woods - home :)

Note

Left leg absoloutly fine today, right leg VERY stiff, twingey and limited - but remaining present and breathing love into any pain that comes up.

Morning Stretch: DONE
Evening Stretch: DONE
Steps: 9500 - fine :)
PHYSIO: Done
1 PM

Running 36:00 [2] 5.6 km (6:26 / km) +140m 5:43 / km
ahr:148 max:177 shoes: HOKA TRAIL SHOES

Really nice and fun run with Talia - we did the classic loop from home, via blue farm, up hills to the octagon, and then back home via Deer path. Tal did really well - she had to walk some of the hills as i pushed up them and met her at the top - my fitness really has come on leaps and bounds.
HOWEVER - right leg SUPER limited and twingey today, really glad I got the run done as it shows it is possible - but it did feel very dodgy and vulnerable. Using this as a workshop of positivity with pain and I know it will pass and to remain relaxed and faithful. Tracking it over the next few days and I am sure it will be fine in time for the race which is all that matters. I think stretch, painkillers and heat/ice over the next week will help it out with the back to normal process.
