MS + ES: done
Physio - a little bit of foot work but not much!
Steps: 18200
8 AM

Running race 1:03:00 [3] 11.5 km (5:29 / km) +71m 5:19 / km
ahr:167 max:185 shoes: HOKA TRAIL SHOES

SECTION 1 of Coast to Coast!
Trail run from Nairn Links to Cawdor Castle - this was a lovely route, nice and flat and at a lovely pace for me and Becky.
This cool dude basically paced us throughout at 5.30/km which was perfectly manageable.
A few roots and muddy sections to work with, but nothing bad at all - an easy part of the race to start and the weather held off.
Aware of pain in the feet but nothing to stop me!

Cycling race 4:18:00 [4] 69.9 km (3:41 / km) +623m 3:32 / km
ahr:144 max:181

SECTION 2 of Coast to Coast: Road Bike from Cawdor to Fort Augustus.
Holy shit is all I have to say for this section. The first couple of hours were okay, despite a pretty awful headwind - the winds were getting up to 50mph it was mental!!! I felt very good in terms of my bike fitness so all the training has been very much worth it! When it started to rain I had a little bit of a teary moment - it was just getting really scary in the wind and rain as I was getting blown around the place! But my body held up and we did it! It was a relief to finish it!

MS: done
ES: done
PHYSIO: done
STEPS: 13700

- aware of Achilles in my right ankle today - pain jumps around like a kangaroo like I always say so working on massaging it out for 5 mins every morning and night until that ceases and noting it purely for mindful tracking - it’s fine! <3
9 AM

Running 33:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:30 / km) +75m 5:11 / km
ahr:153 max:178 shoes: HOKA TRAIL SHOES

Very chilled run with Becky around Forres - the last chance to loosen the legs before the race this weekend.
Taped up the left foot and it actually felt really good throughout - ball rolling does wonders. Actually had more discomfort in the right Achilles - was fine just something to be aware of and work on over the next few days/weeks - being aware of pain is great as it means you can heal any weaknesses early and quickly!

Cycling 33:00 [3] 14.1 km (2:20 / km) +12m 2:20 / km
ahr:141 max:173

Cycle to Findhorn with Becky from Jane and Al’s - got some great speed up this way with the wind behind - felt strong!
Left foot pain present but fine - physio will do the job :D!

Cycling 39:00 [3] 14.0 km (2:47 / km) +24m 2:46 / km
ahr:144 max:182

Cycle back from Findhorn to Kintessack with Jane and Becky - it was much tougher this way as we went into the wind - but good practice.
The body is so strange with how pain jumps around - left foot suddenly felt fine and right foot felt painful haha! But both will be fine :)

Run with Becky in Edinburgh! Arthur’s Seat valley route and back and then a lap around the meadows.
Really glad my foot could do this - again I was aware but it is pain I can work with at this stage and I will get through the race this weekend regardless and can always re-evaluate then. <3 FLOW WITH THE STEP!
Fitness feeling very good! Getting stronger slowly!

Lovely morning cycle around Edinburgh - my first training session back!
A great place to cycle with lots of options for the future - today was more of an explore... I went around Arthurs seat and then found a (1) cycle track to Musselburgh which is good to know about!
No pain in the foot on the bike at all :)
