Hiking 7:00:00 [3] 15.0 mi (28:00 / mi)

Hike through the Royces, along the Basin Rim trail, up to Mt. Meader, and back down to Evans Notch Road with Dad!

It was our last day of the trip, so it was a pretty desperate attempt to hike a big buddy. conditions were non-ideal as a result--we were walking in a cloud most of the time and in a cloud of mosquitos the rest of the time and sometimes in two clouds, one of each. actually the hike itself was pretty cool, strenuous uphill and silent forest along the basin rim trail with no sign of other hikers or wildlife, just the occasional bird call. we took things fast. my ankle held together with a supreme tape job by Dad.

Running 30:00 [3]

track workout at the beat-up old Rumford track!
warm-up
3 x 200 (rest = 75 s / 75 s/ 3:00)
1 x 300 (rest = 90 s)
1 x 400 (rest = 120 s)
1 x 300 (rest = 90 s)
3 x 200 (rest = 75 s/ 90 s/ finish)
cool down

I extended the rest a little on the last half of the ladder (maybe 15 - 20 s more) since I died after the 400. after that the workout went well, though.

Yoga 20:00 [3]

yoga to stretch things out and get in a little core strengthening
