Easy shake out run. Mom biked along beside me which was fun. We talked about my courses from this past weekend. My ankle was really stiff for the first five minutes but eventually loosened up. My quads and hips are the most sore; I could really feel them climbing the stairs at school today (dumb fifth floor class after lunch).

SOOOO fun. I had a very good combination of being alone and being with other runners on this ultra long. I saw Peter a few times in the beginning, but I lost him on the way to 12. I saw Pavlina about half way between 11 and 12 and with me trying very hard to keep up with her we caught Peter again. I was first at the second and eighth control which is pretty exiting, but it also means that I need to work on my physical strength big time.
I have never been hungrier at the end of a race. On the last loop all I could think about was cookies.

Note

I have a college interview on Thursday afternoon. Advice?
