Today was exciting because I got to try out one of my new Gaiters. Only one because they're homemade and we wanted to make sure this one was the right size/fitting before we went through the trouble of making a second one. It worked well, I've never run with gaiters before but this one didn't bother me all that much and besides the fact I got a few odd glances for running around the trails with my asymmetrical leg gear it was a good run. I had to stop to adjust it now and again but we should be able to hammer out the quirks and it'll be ready for use for the Czech Republic.

Note

The last Physics Midterm was today, didn't get any O-training in because I was busy studying and then had to recuperate my crushed moral after the test.

Physical: Intervals 35:00 [3]

I did Intervals today and brought along a map to work on during the rest legs. I accidently took more time than I was supposed to the first few rest periods because I got absorbed in trying to memorise the leg on the map. I also had trouble recalling the end details of the leg such as what feature the control was on; this can be improved by planning backwards but it's a hard habbit to break especially when I'm running.

Tuesdays are my busy days at school so I didn't get a full lunch in and I was feeling that during my run. But I brought my compass with me to try and get in the habit of checking on it while I'm running.
