Just ran a bit to wake up legs, some stuff to get heart rate up & quicken feet. Did this early morning after breakfast, and then again before race start at start so I wouldn't be shocked by Katie's crazy pace.

Need to add miles on shoes.

First day was perfect; just as planned. Team worked well together the whole race. Sleep issues were the source of all our problems. If we can get that stuff figured out better, we'll be truly solid. But the real problem in the end was we had to quit early to get to airport in time, so we missed out on a lot of close, easy cedar key cps. RD had told thought we'd be fine to take a Sunday flight out..,but course was longer than expected, so we had to bow out to catch flight. Getting gear found, packed & loaded up immediately following our passport turn-in all within 40 minutes and making the flight in time on 1 hr sleep for 4 days was truly our most impressive transition of the race!

Trying to get some quick cadence, up tempo stuff in on my limited time left before I leave. Warmed up, did some intervals, rAn back & did but kicks runs & bouncy quick strides.
