Got out on my (city) bike to get some fresh air after not being able to run for the last few days because of my injured calf and spending most of the time indoors.
Went up to Hyttbro and back where they had set some courses for youth training to meet Maria and Birgit who had gone there by car.
Training-wise it was harder going up there while the way back was basically rolling down all the hills without too much effort.

Night O at Stångtjärnsstugan in Falun for the last race of Vintercupen this year. Temp +1C, not very much snow in the forest.
Not a very good way to finish this winter series on many accounts:
1) I missed #1 right away - came to the wrong forking and took some time to find mine. All alone on the course after that. One small detour on #2 as well, but nothing serious and after that the orienteering went well.
2) About halfway through the course I had the same type of strain in my right calf as on Sunday so I had to stop running.

Last part of the course: Easy walk/jog just taking three more controls before going back to the finish without completing the course.

A very slow and careful session for two reasons: I wanted to feel if my calf was OK after the light strain on Sunday + on the very icy and slippery trails it wasn´t really possible to run at more than a jogging pace anyways... Calf felt OK so hopefully this was just a very temporary thing.
