Decided to go for a run this morning - it was cold but that didn’t stop me getting out in my summer running clothes - just meant I had to keep moving to stay warm it did however turn out to be quite nice once we got going.

I was picked up/joined by a friend of mine here and she took me for a loop of the area - nearly 10km a bit further than I think my tired little legs where ready for but was good - only stop though that was for her to make a quick pit stop in the toilets and for some road crossings otherwise consistent pace from start to finish - was nice running with someone and having a chat the whole way made the time go a lot faster and the running easier - surprised I didn’t stitch from the talking!

Felt great wasn’t hurting from an endurance point of view - but once finished could definitely feel both knees protesting. The suck hard - just aching all over :(

Might have to do another one before I go! Need to get some kms into the legs before the Rogaine - incidentally I think I am going to be looking for a partner or a team to join as I don’t think my GF is going to be up for this one.

Rest Day - coupled with feeling like flu is coming coupled with flying to UK tomorrow = doing nothing today and probably quiet for the next few week.s
