7 PM

Gym (Upper Body & Core) 47:38 [3]
ahr:85 max:118 shoes: ASICS GEL - Nimbus 17

Delayed this session to today as just ran out of time yesterday

Felt lethargic today but still put in the effort to get through it.

Friday May 18 #

(rest day)

Went to physio - she put 4-5 needles in each calf and gave me some exercises

Calf is nailed hard now!

Generally, in good condition, my left leg is a lot smaller than right causing some of the imbalance... I have some work to do there - she's going to look at some of my mechanics next session to see if I am doing something retarded whilst running and the forces I am applying.

Ankle seems to be a problem with (and now I've forgotten all the terms) the front and the gap between the foot and the ball (tooms will know what I'm talking about maybe) - not worth a scan but just going to take time to get it right. Just need to monitor it for now.

Gym (Arms / Core) 51:12 [3]
ahr:92 max:125 shoes: ASICS GEL - Nimbus 17

Maddys first day at daycare so I could go to the gym in the morning as I have a free day woohoo

Found this session hard as did go up on 2 activities and weights for this session have been too heavy on the others... going to take this cycle to get used to it I think.

Was nice going in morning enjoyed it the gym wasn't busy either.

Tuesday May 15 #

9 PM

Gym (Hardcore) 53:55 [3]
ahr:91 max:119 shoes: ASICS GEL - Nimbus 17

Really unenthusiastic session tonight but went and did it all the same... Had to start late as William took a while to get to sleep (he got a bed today so was a big step out of the cot).

I'm missing cardio should just go do some and if it injures me then so be it but I have done like 4 runs in 8 weeks now and not many more rides...

Physio Friday - see if that cant fix or put me on the right track.
